No longer in Europe

Well, it's been a year since my trip to Europe and even longer since I lived there as a teenager. If I had the chance to go back and live there- I'd jump at the chance. I know the saying, "The grass is always greener..." but in this case, as an Art Historian- it is. Especially an Art Historian specializing in Ancient Greek and Roman art.

Now I'm in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating from LSU with a Master of Arts, moving here was a practical move. To find any kind of "grown-up" job and make money to pay off student loans.

It's tough to find a job out there. I've found more and more articles about how tough the job market is. And Masters degrees are becoming more common. I wish I could stay in the University bubble- I might go back someday.
